Expected competencies
- Identify common expressions and turns of phrase (e.g. dialogues, interviews).
- Understand general information and specific details.
- Grasp the overall meaning of varied discourse (concrete or abstract).
- Follow speech delivered at standard speed.
Test marking
The test is marked automatically via a computerised system. Human intervention occurs only in cases of ambiguity detected on the answer sheet.
Marking takes into account the level and difficulty of the questions in order to assign a score that represents the candidate's level.
