Professional French Diploma (DFP)
The Professional French Diploma (DFP) is an official certification created in 1958 by the Paris Île-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI Paris Île-de-France), at the request of businesses. It evaluates written and oral French communication skills in the main professional sectors: business, tourism, hospitality and catering, international relations and healthcare.
These diplomas emphasise the evaluation of language performance in a professional context, through real-world scenarios. Valid for life, they represent a major asset for students and professionals wishing to demonstrate their French language skills in a French-speaking and international environment.

Professional French Diploma - F.A.Q
Le Diplôme de français des affaires (DFP Affaires) est une certification officielle qui atteste de votre capacité à utiliser le français de manière efficace, à l’oral comme à l’écrit, dans des situations professionnelles courantes. Il est destiné aux étudiants et aux professionnels amenés à travailler ou à communiquer avec des interlocuteurs francophones dans le domaine des affaires.
L’examen du DFP Affaires se compose de deux parties :
Comprendre et traiter l’information : Cette épreuve, réalisée sur ordinateur, dure entre 45 minutes et 2 heures selon le niveau. Elle comprend des activités basées sur des documents authentiques écrits (par exemple, fiches produits, graphiques) et/ou audios (par exemple, messages téléphoniques, débats), ainsi que la production écrite de documents professionnels (par exemple, courriels, comptes rendus).
Interagir à l’oral : Cette épreuve consiste en un échange (jeu de rôle) avec un examinateur ou une examinatrice. Elle dure entre 5 et 15 minutes selon le niveau, avec un temps de préparation chronométré. Elle comprend deux activités d’interaction orale (conversation pour informer ou convaincre) ou de production orale (par exemple, présentation d’un produit).
