Achieving linguistic excellence – Level C2
Level C2 represents the highest degree of language proficiency according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). It enables one to understand with ease practically everything that is read or heard, and to express oneself with remarkable fluency, including on complex, implicit or highly specialised content.
The units at this level aim to refine stylistic subtleties, to perfect discursive strategies and to guarantee complete mastery of language registers. The learner is capable of producing clear, structured, nuanced discourse, and of interacting fluently in all contexts, even the most demanding.
Objective: to use French with a precision, elegance and spontaneity comparable to those of an educated native speaker.

By the end of level C2:
The learner can understand with ease lengthy and demanding texts or discourse, restate ideas in a structured, nuanced and elegant manner, express themselves with precision in all registers, rephrase with flexibility, adapt their style to any situation, including in specialised fields or those with a strong cultural dimension.
